Weston Twigg

Sr. Research Analyst

Weston Twigg is a managing director and senior research analyst at Piper Sandler covering industrial technology. Twigg has been recognized as one of the Top Ten Stock pickers in the U.S. by Financial Times and Starmine, and has been a winner in The Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" survey multiple times. In 2008, he was voted "Best Up-and-Coming Analyst" by Institutional Investor, and he has been regularly named in that publication's All-American Research Team. Prior to joining Piper Sandler in 2021, he spent 16 years covering semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, and industrial technology companies at KeyBanc Capital Markets and Pacific Crest Securities (which was acquired by Key Bank in 2014). Prior to Pacific Crest Securities, he worked in the semiconductor industry as a senior engineer at Intel, and before that, as a process engineer at Samsung. Twigg received his Master of Business Administration from the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington, his Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, and his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Albion College.
